57 mins for me to dl been dying for this demo to come out something else to
waste away the hours i havent got spare when the ut 2003 demo came out i played it
every spare minute i had and the wife was going mental about the amount of time i was spending on the pc lol looks like i better get ready for more serious wife nag then !! being deaf does have its good points i.e. when my wife goes in to nag mode i can just pretend to scratch my head and sneekily switch my hearing aids off and let her get on with it lol

Its a bit of a laugh.

Shot a bot right up the arse with the Lightning Gun at point blank; he flew for 30 feet.

Should set-up a game, me thinks.

    Hmm quite fun.
Just like UT2003 really though, with a couple of new game modes, etc.

Sound and graphics are top - notch though and it runs well with my graphics card!

onslaught, each team has a shielded power core at their base, this can only be attacked when you control all the nodes on the map. the nodes are like spawn points for peeps and vehicles and have gun emplacements too. destroy a red one, then just run over it and it starts getting built for blue, repeat through the map u can use the link gun alt. fire to build it quicker, eventually you end up with all the nodes which exposes the enemy powercore - chuck grenades etc at it... then boom.

it's really really manic, and very quick paced.

    new assault rocks too.

I just had a quick go on it...

    TOP CLASS.

It is different to 2003. The "feel" of the game is just like the original UT, it feels tight not bloated and is solid as a brick. I love it.

Add the insanity that is vehicles and onslaught.. now thats fun.

I remember foolishly jumping online when they first released ut2003 and wandered into a room full of these sickeningly good players. It was a free for all upto 100 frags or something. Needless to say I left with a kill/killed ratio of about 2:60

So I think I'll be putting in a fair bit of practice before I head into the online world of this game
