I will drop you a line from the Hexus Group when I next see you online and add you to the friends list

I will check the online out, but sales figues are only showing the PC market making up about 9% of the sales so the co-op maybe the only way to go with the PC version and the SP side of things. Which is what I bought it for anyway

I might not trust EA, but DICE are okay. The fact that they're still releasing patches for BF2 now says a lot.

What a great way for IW to destroy what was set to be an amazing game based the video reviews I have seen around the Internet. I was all set on getting my teeth into a new Multiplayer game, but now, it looks like I will have to find another multiplayer game to play, maybe actually invest in W@W...

WaW I am looking at for a CoD online fix. Plus CoD 4 will still be the flavour of the day for online gaming for the PC.

I played the demo of W@W and thought it was ok, but it didn't make me want to buy it, but people have said it's got better with maps and patches so I figured why not. As for CoD4, I am bored of the game now, I have played it since release day, played for a team in an organisation which I left after a few months because of the amount of complete muppets, numpties and plane annoying fool's that come with organisations, so now I am back in a clan, who play for fun and don't want 5 wars a night and expect to win them all. So yeah my time for CoD4 has been greatly reduced and I dont have the urge to play as much.

Well I will get W@W and see how that goes, if I do not enjoy it, I will just sell it.

Re: MW2 - IW Developer Chat Last Night

I actually prefer the MP of W@W than COD4 - the maps are better and there is much less frustration through nade spamming. The SP is rubbish though and not a patch on COD4. The Zombie co-op mode is fun too!

I ended up with a copy of this on the PC and the 360 and for some reason I started using the 360 for online and never did the zombie maps. I might try this out later tonight on the PC.

Re: MW2 - IW Developer Chat Last Night

Did like WaW myself but anyone that knows me also knows I will play absolutely any game that's WW1/WW2 based as it's my favourite genre.
Zombie mode is definitely kick ass, not one to miss out on really.

Heard about the party chat thing on MW2?
Seems that you can't chat to your friends (even f they're not playing MW2) in most game modes.

Guess I'll be completely disabling chat all together then, can't stand the little #@%$£ you usually get on there.

Re: MW2 - IW Developer Chat Last Night

Have just sat and read the entire delevopers chat, and I have to say what a load of crap.

Someone asked what would IW do in regards to leagues wanting to include Modern Warfare two, the guy answered they would talk to the leagues.

The leagues will just turn around and say we need/ want dedicated servers and all this bs about the game being "optimised" is just complete turd.

It's completely obvious to ANYONE that all IW have done for this IW net thing is take what the consoles use and port it to the PC and then tried tweaking it a bit, I fail to see why they spent "money" on developing IW net when they could have just as easily developed dedicated server support.

Some of the answers that the I.W chaps gave we so blatently scripted its almost insulting to those that asked the questions! I hope for the sake of the CoD franchise that they include dedicated servers in the first patch they release.

9v9 is useless, its no fun.
The nuke you get when reaching a 25 kill streak is utterly pointless and would just ruin games.
IW are putting so much faith in VAC catching all the cheaters and keeping the game fair imo, thats one of the reasons people want dedicated servers, so they can kick cheaters/ suspected cheaters, not put up with them.
