Whats everyone playing at the min?

Currently on Devil May Cry bought from Greenman Gaming sale. I have to say i am pleasantly surprised as its a cracker of a game so far. Visuals are tasty and its freeflowing and smooth. The other DMC games i've tried in the past have been awkward and clumsy (maybe thats me tho ) This is more on a par with Bayonetta which i loved.

My xbox is a radiator and with this weather atm it might be a bit of time before its back on, but playing Dark Souls on that, cracking game, hard as hell.

Dark Souls is awesome but I had to grind the first bit of Anor Londo (Huge metal Knights) to level up, Stood at a distance and hit them with arrows so they didn't move! Finally got through it though after around 90 hours all told, started new game + and stuck on the Capra Demon mini boss which isn't optional as it has the sewer key. If you had a bit more space it wouldn't be to bad!

Been playing Borderlands 2 again, this time taking Axton (Commando) through it, up to 131 hours so far, love this game.

I have also been playing Robocop, Rastan (128k version which has awesome music), Batman (Movie and Caped Crusader), Chase HQ and Fantasy World Dizzy quite a bit on my Spectrum +2A, damned fine games even to this day. Try to get 128k versions where available as they usually do have better features and sound than the older 48k versions.

Few days back bought Castlevania Symphony of the Night, Rayman 2, Metal Gear Solid and Alundra for PS1 from the Playstation store so been playing those a bit.

Started Tomb Raider last week and 100%'d it this weekend, was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed the game (yes I know everyone said it was good but I'm quite jaded ).

Now I'm not sure if I should play BioShock Inf or Hitman Absolution next.

There was a great and real easy cheat on the original 128k version, as you had to load each level separately off the tape and there was no check on which level it was loading, to skip to any level you just had to fastforward/rewind the tape to the correct place.

have a look for target renegade that was a great double dragon type game on the specy, the commodore version looked better but the game was different and total rubbish.

I love Target Renegade on the C64, played through it a few weeks back.

I actually have a copy of it coming for the Spectrum in the next day or two, also have a Kempston Interface coming so I can use my favorite joystick that I use on my C64, the Sinclair interface required a different pin config and needs specific joysticks. A lot of Joysticks at the time had the additional grey adapter on them for Sinclair interfaces.

One thing I REALLY like about the 128k machines over 48k is that a fair few of the multiload games actually load in a single load. Chase HQ and Robocop for example, they also have extra speech and music, granted the loading time is longer but I will take a single load any day.

Just finished Last Light again, I still have to finish Alan Wake and Bioshock Infinite. Alan Wake is pretty enjoyable but Infinite is a chore - I'm getting nothing out of it.

Ahh, remember the Currah Microspeech back in the day?

I never owned one, I got my first Spectrum about 2 months ago!! I was always a Commodore person when I was much younger. Mind you the C64 did have a software program you could load which worked in the same way via the SID chip, not as good as Currah Microspeech though.

Its funny how things turn out, a friend had one I remember and you wrote words how you say them so if you were to write evil you would type it as eevil. Today it is taught in junior / primary schools as phonics

Ah, the C64. I used to play MUDs on floppy disk and more graphically intense titles on cartridge. Jump Man, Mindshadow, Spy Hunter, Rastan, Ghostbusters, Radar Rat Race...

But on PC, I finally got around to buying Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Got 400 hours logged on that now. And I'm playing Tera: Rising until TE:O is up for either OB or purchase. Tried the Dragon's Prophet thing but there's no PvP, so it's boring.

Currently playing Remember Me on XBOX although I'm struggling to really get into it.

Coming from Tomb Raider and then Bioshock, I guess I just had high hopes.
Hoping it picks up as I get along
