Had a little bash with it yesterday, its ok, graphics are a little pretty, but only what you would expect, think the demo is limited to 1024 res so that doesn't help.

Maybe 7/10 although I prefer my games to be more sim than arcade.

I downloaded the demo last night, and I wasn't overly impressed. That said, I haven't tried it with my PS2 pad yet, that'll probably help.

Overall it looks pretty good though - albeit decent graphics and sounds should come as standard - but I'm none too impressed with the handling. I don't think I'll bother with this one.....

I've spent a lot of time on the demo, im a big fan of NFSU and all i wanted was a free roaming city, so i will definitely be buying the full game.

BTW, there is no damage on it, because EA wanted to keep it as an arcade racer, and they saw damage as turning it into more of a simulation. They wanted just a fun driving game, hence no damage.

I like it a lot, seems to have improved on NFSU in every way from what i can tell of the demo. the reason the cars dont get damaged afaik is that many of the manufacturers wont allow it as even in a video game they dont like people to see their cars bruised and battered.

i will definitely be buying it although not until after i've completed halo 2, half life 2 and CoD UO

Not so good on the drift though - I always seem to lose loads by crashing into oncoming vehicles!

Seems to be a problem with the 6800 range and I think it tests sys spec for res etc

My rig (in sig) runs nice at 1280 full detail 4*aa/8*af
