Ohh, im not putting down Halo 2 at all, ive had a quick bash on it and it did seem like a good game. Im looking at buying an x-box within the next few weeks, and it'll be high on my list of games to get.Originally Posted by mr_anderson187

Because if i am honest, Halo 1 for the XB was ok, nothing special, just ok. The PC version was laughable.
So take away all the marketing, hype, and pre-sales build up, and Halo 2 would have been a lot smaller of a release due to the prior game not being that good.
Like i said above though, credit where its due, Halo 2 does seem like a decent game from my first impressions.
I went to a friend's house today to play Halo 2, i didnt touch multiplayer, but the story mode poor. Especially that lame story involving the alien baddies and having to play them.
HUGE disappointment after seeing that awesome E3 demo that looked like great action
to say i disliked the single player in the first game is an understatment, huuuuuuuuuge let down.
but after playing this for 3 hrs last night i am absolutly loving it!!!!!
and the graphics have improved so much since the 1st one
if you want poor sequels, try doom 3.
this
game
rox
Another thing that i really didnt like was that only the first 2 levels were on earth
After seeing that E3 demo, i thought all the levels would be fun like that, but then it pulls a Halo and gets very boring and repetitive very fast
I will be playing this online as soon as i get a Xbox for crimbo off my good wife.
