Recommend me an RTS

Yea think i went a bit OTT with the best game ever But will be as i am an avid LOTR fan so will be def #1 in my books.

Hmm, Everyone is syaing RA2 but has anyone actually played it online recently? Fat chance of getting a fair game. Even on the Official servers, there were so many cheaters and hacks about (I should know, I was one/fight fire with fire...) Westwood had to withdraw their official ladder and competitions. Same Goes for Yuris Revenge. Consider this before you buy RA2.

C&C Generals lost touch with the RA2 feel. Something just want there. Some ppl liked it, some people didnt. Im indifferent.

Warcraft III and frozen throne are both excellent games if you like orcs/elfs/humans ...(Lord of the Rings Style settings). Loads of different tactics and build orders to choose from in both single and multiplayer games. Hardly any cheaters (to my knowledge).

Imho, RA2 is now slightly outdated. Its a classic that had loads of people playing online. But its over. I think You should invest ur money in something new. Rome Total War is good Ive heard. You can try Axis & Allies which has just been released. Not so bad single player, but very competetive online.

I'd go for something newer tho.

I just hope it actually feels like a C&C game this time - Generals just wasn't the same

Could be RA in generals style...damn.
