Half Life 2 - Plus many mods and extras.
My favourite of all time is Super Metroid (Snes)
I am sure there are lots more but off the top of my head I can't think of them
World of Warcraft (a long time ago)
I enjoy some Battlefield and Call of Duty but with developers churning out titles at a rate of one a year, my time spent playing these titles doesn't often get past the two year mark (for a variety of reasons).
Love-hate relationship with League of Legends... but CS:S/CSGO is up there
RuneScape - more than 15 years playing that game.

Almost certainly Goldeneye and Smash Bros on the N64
Phantasy Star Online. If I could still be playing that as it was back then I probably would.
May have played eve online and the original guild wars for that long but it's hard to remember with those.
Halo 2, 3 and Reach, still playing them occasionally on the chef collection.
Most recently Destiny and (if it even counts) Pokémon Go. Was so glad to get that monkey off my back in the end though. Those games have taught me to hate live service where it's psychologically manipulative trying to get you to play all the time like a second job.
Much prefer to be playing a variety of shorter games, it's a shame it feels like those are dwindling in the AAA space.
Listed in order of hours played on Steam currently:
- Elite Dangerous - Always go back once in a while
- Transport Fever 1 & 2 - played one, then the sequel (which is basically an overhaul of the first game)
- Terraria - keep going back, this time because my daughter just discoverd it
- Euro Truck Simulator 2
- Defense Grid: Awakening - Took 200 hours to get 100% achievement. Still play it, to get higher Score
- Stardew Valley
- American Truck Simulator
- Anno 2205 - Anno 1800 will likely replace this... but I only got it recently...
- Stellaris - go back every once in a while, to play new DLC's
- Hearts of Iron 4 - same reason as above
- Sid Meier's Civilization VI - Civ V has longer hours but Civ VI is the one I'm still playing... have been playing the series since Civ II.
- Cities Skyline
- Minion Masters - not quite 2 years yet, but will be at some point!
- Planet Zoo
- Skyrim - This would be higher in the list if it counted the hours I played on the 360 and PS3 as well.
- Persona 4 Golden - This is a funny one, as I used to play this on the PS Vita over 10 years ago, last year got it for the PC
- DYNASTY WARRIORS 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition - Still attempting to 100% it on and off! Also another game I got pretty far on PS3.
- FINAL FANTASY VII - Completed it years ago on PC. Now replaying on and off.
- Universe Sandbox Legacy - Load it every once in a while... also use it to teach my daughter about planets, and what happens if the sun explodes etc.
- Flashback - Played it on MegaDrive II in 90s; got it for PC this year, and replaying it!
Non-Steam Games:
- Burnout Paradise - Got it on PS3 back in the day, now on PC. Fun for short bursts of gameplay
- Red Alert 3 - replaying after completing it decades ago!
- Assassin's Creed II - Attempting to replay the series, originally played on PS2. If I can get controller support on UPlay working that is, think I have a solution.
- Prince of Persia Warrior Within - As above, same issue with getting controller to work properly.
Not 2 years yet, but will likely be:
- Warhammer 40,000 Inquisitor - Martyr
- Rimworld - Only bought it on New Year's Day 2021!
- Anno 1800 - have all the DLC's to play through... and enjoy it a lot
"Arrogance and stupidity all in the same package. How efficient of you!" - Ambassador Londo Mollari
"Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake." - A General
Total War: Warhammer / Warhammer II
Stellaris
GTA V
Elite: Dangerous - When I have the patience
The Witcher 3 - One of my favourite games ever
honestly recently on Apex. Not many games have the floaty running system, also i don't really like the rappelling of Titanfall 2, so apex is a good choice for me.
Halo 3 - Still playing casually to this day, 10+ years on
Runescape - Easily 5 + Years
Most COD titles
GTA V
Overwatch
Witcher 3
I guess you can count Apex Legends now
