sounds cool, I hope they implement a 'steam like' system so you can download games and transfer them to your xbox.
Prob comes with a 'hub' since alot of the time people only use 1 controller it just looks 'neater' and you just plug in the 'hub' when u need to... just my guess

Whats that slot for to the right of the big green button?
Shame for all those who like it keep their consoles in cupboards/cabinets tho.

"According to the latest rumors, the Xbox 360 will debut with roughly 15 to 20 games, with additional waves being released every few weeks. Many of the launch titles are thought to be next-gen sequels of established franchises. Topping that list is the long-awaited sequel to Perfect Dark, as well as a half-dozen or so racing titles, including Project Gotham, NFSU, Test Drive, a new Namco series, and the possibility of a Burnout installment."
oh and here is a memory card
I would assume that the new xbox would be backwards compatable, think of all the users they would piss off if they did not make it happen.
64meg memory cards then.
I assume it will ship minus the HDD which will be an immeditly available add on in a variety of sizes?
Prob won't need a mem card and a removable HD.

The only way they could do it would be to miniturise all the main Xbox componants and squeeze them in. I think the PS2 adopted a similer method, but used the PS2 gfx card/chip allowing the faster load times/improved textures.
Or emulation but that would crawl...
Backwards compatability is good for the first few months but after that people in general rarely play their older games and if they fancy it they don't mind hooking up an older system once in a while.
