Can't wait for this, the Single Player sounds awesome, and the Imperial Guard are more defensive, which i like as well.

Meh you bunch of lucky camels, my graphics gave up the ghost and died on me three days ago it will be a long and hard two weeks before I have my new graphics card, I'm currently using an old second hand ATi Rage II+ PCI as a temporary replacement as I have a mountain of DVDs I'd never have watched whilst my dearly beloved 9700Pro was in good health perhaps a cruel blessing in disguise??

On a brighter note though, Dawn Of War in my opinion was a delicious breath of fresh air... but later on in the campaign it got hideously repetitive so I won't play it until I get my new graphics card...

    Heya People.
I just think things need to be said by someone who knows the hobby extremely well and has won several tabletop tournaments.
Firstly the expansion is a big let down in that none of the original armies actually got any good upgrades from what i can see, in fact they have managed to make playing at least one of them worse.
Next why only release 1 when they had the chance to release 2 more of the armies from 40k, wouldnt it have been great seein Tyranids be pounded into the floor by IG or OG being eaten by nids. Instead they release an army that is to be fair extremely close to what it is on the tabletop but without some of the units that make the tabletop fun to play on. Also in the system and format that the ig have been done then it makes facing them extremely hard and barely worth it.
All in all they could have made such a good expansion pack that it would have encouraged them to do more, as it is however i dont know if this is good enough

    Installed and been playing...
Can you get the eldar and the imperial guard into the psychic gate or is it a 1 or the other map?
Keep getting my ass kicked by the necrons on the map after that, whats the best way to take them out or am I gonna struggle due to lack of eldar?

DoW was pretty good, so I might give this a go.

I played DoW nearly to the end but got fed up because I was still putting up with my Crummy Ti4200 and it's insistance on locking up the moment it got asked to draw a polygon.

Hopefully they'll have nailed the real fault in the gameplay of the first one. Each mission tended to be "build a base then walk up this vally"
