What civ 4 for 17.99 at play.com i was going to give this a miss due to the the high price (25.00) and after the last (civ3 ) just turning out to be a poor graphics job and full of bugs.. but now i will give it a go.
Going to wait for quake 4 to drop down to the 20.00 mark, don`t have time to play anything more with Dow, Winter Assault loaded up.

    Try the demo

It looks better than doom 3 and its more fun to play. Simplistic but a great laugh non the less (too dark though)

Agreed - I just tried the demo last night. Runs pretty well on older gfx cards, but still too dark. Before I tried the demo Q4 was on my wish list.. now.. I'm not sure. Just something not quite right about the atmosphere - doesn't really engage me like Q2 did.

And I *hate* the monster jumping out of the wall type things! Happens several times in the demo

I started playing CoD2 on PC but now playing it on the 360.

Dont think its as good as the 1st and I personally prefered Hidden & Dangerous series.

I found Q4 sp to be simplistic and the bosses are far too easy. Played to the end though which means it must be fairly allright, as I rarely finish sp games these days.

    Q4 mp is sublime though.

Oh and kempez815, it does have a widescreen option.
