it will be good to play this classic game again, but I think it will have limited appeal. Games today have moved on so much further.

I recently played the original SS on an amiga emulator and it just had lost its appeal, its good to look back....... it is one of the all time classic games, but I dont think it can compete with PES5.

I had a couple of the ones in #16, excellent, they were. The non-microswitched version
was actually better for getting after-touch in Sensi, although worse in every other game
    you played with it.

I've still got my old A1200, and a copy of SWOS 96-97, played a mate on it the other
week, and boy did my hands ache after. I don't remember hurting that much when I
played it first time round. As a teenager, I must have been doing something to make my hands stronger...

I picked up an A1200 for £5, just waiting for some time to install a laptop HD and some games. Need to hunt ebay for some joysticks as well.

There's a few folk on Ebay selling 2.5in HDDs for the A1200, I got one with 1Gb, and some Opus file management thing for about £15. In terms of size, it's fine, not many games were more than a few meg in those days, so everything I've got fits on.

I thought the zipstick was just too 'clicky'.

The Kempston (picture #16) is the original and best.

    Lets have a flame war!

Your mind is addled by your extreme age, and the length of time between making that erenous statement and the last time you used a zipstick. The zipstick doesent just sux it SUX BIG TIME

Right im of to play wizball on my C64. Just got to find my tartan slippers and blanket.

Next thing you will be saying that he spectrum 48 was better than the C64, last person that said that to me they couldnt find the body

    jonney,

I've warned you TWICE in the past about your behaviour on these forums. Now either heed those warnings, type properly and stop swearing or you'll be banned, ok?

    Thank you.
