    hopefully, what you'd find is a statement that i don't care about the platform, i care about the games - JSRF would be a game to care about

    Spectrum 48k (rusting in a shoebox in an attic)
    Apple Classic (not exactly mine as it was the work PC, but I used it quite a bit...)
    Apple -something- (as above but with a reasonable sized colour screen)
    333 celeron 4/8Mb SiS --> 16Mb TNT
    1GHz Athlon, GF2 ultra
    xp2400+, fx5600 to 9800pro
    ...and that's as far as I've got!

    consolewise...
    sega mega drive 2
    ...lasted perhaps a year (probably more like 8 months) then got sold to part-fund a bass guitar purchase I made back then. Bass still works fine

    never saw much point in buying a console since, though I am following at the new offerings from the big 3 with some interest to see if any of them might amount to a wireless/networkable home entertainment centre...

    I vagley remember my dad having some basic computer with the original Flight Simulator on it which might have been a 286, but the computers that I myself was invovled with were as follows (minus any non cpu & video card upgrades):-

    486 sx-33 - 1mb trident video card (failed upgrade to dx-100 as the mobo couldnt take it)
    AMD K6-2 233mhz - 4mb ati card and 12mb voodoo 2
    AMD Athlon 800mhz - 32mb Geforce 2 GTS (later upgraded to 1.2ghz duron)
    P4 2.6ghz - Ati 9700 128mb (expecting delivery of a used 6800gt 256mb tomorrow!)

    Console wise, well as follows:-

    NES
    Game boy
    SNES
    XBOX (primarly for media centre)

    Blimey - I thought I was a jaded old duffer! Nothingface starts with a ZX80; what, 1978 was that? Coo! Nice to se a few oddities here to - the Dragon 32 was well thought of in it's day. Surpised noone owned (or admits to!) an Amiga 600. Anyone remember the Oric Atmos? Played with one of them - another 'orrible rubber keyboard.

    Oh well - if we're doing consoles too;

    Gameboy
    SNES
    Atari Lynx
    Sega GameGear
    Playstation (a blue debug station)
    Dreamcast
    Gameboy Advance
    PS2
    Xbox
    PSP

    I used to be a games reviewer. That's my excuse.
    This hot girl came over to myspace last night, she twittered my yahoo till I
    googled all over her facebook. Ask Jeeves...

    System 1: Intel i5-2500k OC STABLE @5.05ghz with a ThermaTake Frio (air power!), 8Gb 1600 (9-9-9-24) R3 Patriot G2 RAM, nVidia GTX980TI ;
    System 2: HP N40L Microserver;
    System 3: MSI 'Ghost Pro' laptop - 16Gb DDR4 RAM, nVidia 970M, i7-6700, 256GB PCIe SSD + 1TB HDD
    System 4: Samsung TAB S 10.1

    Hopefully not the +2B which was a cut down +3, with mangled compatibility ... and about 8% less ram disk space....

    I preffered the first version - the pre-Amstrad model with QL style keys - complete with hand warmer on the right when my bedroom got cold...
