I noticed Britxbox are looking for staff. It won't be paid but if anyone is looking for experience it could be a chance to start off in the industry. I've met the owner, Mike and he's a very motivated guy who constantly looks at improving his site. They have a good community and are part of the XCN (Xbox Community Network).

Here is what he said:
"As Britxbox.co.uk continues to expand we're looking for someone to join the team as an Artist. The job will involve creating artwork for the columns, for news stories and banners etc for reviews, previews, features etc and to create a set of standard images to use across BXB.

An ideal candidate will have experience working online, have a great original and artistic flare plus the abilty to use programs like Photoshop and be happy to work voluntarily. Being an active member of BXB's Community is also greatly desired by not required.

A successful applicant will get free entry to our LAN events as well given the chance to visit national and international gaming events.

BXB is the UK largest Xbox Gaming Community and has appeared on numerous websites, in magazines and on television. Working for BXB would look great on any CV and would help potential artists increase their portfolios!

If you're interested in working for BXB then please e-mail your details and a sample of your work to mike@britxbox.co.uk entitled "Artist Job Application".

Closing date for applications is January 15th 2006."
