I must say. Code Veronica almost made me buy a DC on the spot when I saw and tried the demo at HMV. I could watch the intro in a loop, and really enjoyed the gameplay of the demo.

But I have no TV... I don't suppose that a PS2 hooked up to a 24" TFT with some sort of adapter would look good right?

There are a bunch of PS2 games I'd love to try... and both the console and games should be pretty affordable now.

You can buy adapaters which allow the xbox and the ps2 to be hooked up to a tft from maplins. l'll grab a link for you.

RE4's controls, just like the rest of the game, have nothing in common with the previous games. so it's not a simple comparison.

I've only ever played the original, used to play it all the time with my mates before we went out, that sorta game.
To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.

SSX Tricky is only a fiver on play, and SSX3 is pretty cool too. Snowboarding is THE best sport out there, you need it on your console Although the gamecube versions are (once again) better gfx/control wise

Resi 4 is worth getting too, I agree with the others about the PC version, I think it just won't work on the PC. Silent Hill series, Metal Gear series, Resident evil series - I have played them all on a mixture of PC/Consoles, and the PC versions never have decent controls You really need a gamecube pad adapter to play them properly on the PC, but failing that a PS2 pad works as well, although not quite as well

    Good choice

For me it's games like this that mean the XBOX 360 will ultimately not touch the PS2/3 in the market.

I love Bishi Bashi Special + Eye Toy + Buzz, the XBOX has had no innovative games/entertainment like these three and that PS2 guitar game looks legendary (beer fueled jamming session in the living room soon).

Allmost as daft as the superscope, who realy needs a shoulder mounted bazooka in their living room (great fun though)

Am I a sad muppet if I'm thinking about getting a dance mat for my PS2 ? (a little clue, I'm 33 married and have a 7 month old boy, so probably yes).
