Im sure the ps2 would look much better than on a standard tv- the dc definately did. PS2 code veronica is a dire conversion unfortunately with unishgtly black borders somehow making it look worse than the DC originalOriginally Posted by TooNice

Now Sega don't make a console it's easy to forget what they, and third parties, have done.
It's just my opinion but MS realy do lack any innovation in gaming don't they, they seem to be the Electronic Arts of consoles and console hardware
Nup, both the PS2 and DC look better on a decent monitor - the key thing is to use the correct adapter/converter box, and decent ones cost loads (such as the one that was for sale on hexus last week). With the DC you really wanted the official VGA adapter, and with compatable games and a decent CRT monitor it was miles better than a TV (as you get proper 640x480 VGA). It won't work anywhere near as well with a TFT monitor as the resolution is 640x480, and unless that is your TFT's native resolution it's going to look crap (hehe another reason CRTs are still miles better)Originally Posted by steve threlfall

bad decision - bad bad decision. get a payrise, take the steaming pile of **** back and get a 360.....it's ALL about the gotham.
Project Gotham racing looks good fun, but i'll wait..Originally Posted by altitude2k
I mean £40-£50 a game is far too much, i can get 8-10 PS2 games for that
If you fancy flying some fighter jets, I can't recommend enough the Ace Combat games. go for either Ace Combat: Squadron Leader (the latest) or Ace Combat: Distant Thunder (its predecessor).
In terms of car racing, GT4 highly recommended, as is WRC4, F1 2004 or 5, ToCA Race Driver 2 is also recommended, but TRD3 is about to come out, so maybe get that for the PC.
I'd buy a PS2 just for the Tekken series - brilliant.

that's fairplay, i'm just one of those people who HAD to get a 360 and i don't regret my decision but i don't blame people for being wary of the pricetags involved. but when you finally get one, you must get PGR3 - by far the best game in the series and WAY beyond MSR (^___^) and a lot more fun than GT.Originally Posted by Ravens Nest
I hope your not talking about the first Devil May Cry as that was an excellent game.Admittedly two of the games are not good (devil may cry, Summoner)

PGR3 i've heard nothing but good things about it, I played NFSMW on xbox360 and it was really good, but my mate said he just bought PGR3 and that blows NFSMW away
Actually im just getting into Ghost hunter on PS2 lots of fun catching ghosts and firing a plasma gun (Reminds me of ghostbusters a little)
