Tempted to buy an Xbox360, but bought a PS2 instead!

I was toying with the idea of buying an Xbox 360, but the price of games was putting me right off the idea £39.99 - £49.99 each

So did the next logical step and bought a PS2 instead

I've not had so much fun playing games in ages!! and the games are so cheap
    (well second hand anyway)

I went overboard and bought 18 games and an extra one came with the console.
An extra controller and an 8MB memory card (actually wish i'd bought a bigger one)

Admittedly two of the games are not good (devil may cry, Summoner)

But the rest are all good, 15 of the games were less than £5 each and two were £15 together and the other was 20 (Burnouts revenge)

I know the PS3 is probably out later this year but i dont care as it just means people are selling perfectly good games for pennys

So if you havent got one already get yourselves a cheap console and buy yourself some bargains.

don't. really. there is *no* way they can port it to pc without making the controls either frustrating as hell, or such that they make the game painfully easy.

and much as RE:CV is a good RE game, RE4 is a complete reinvention of the genre & a completely different league

Hmm i see what you mean, just thought they might have a way to let me reconfigure the controls how i want them.

I've got an Xbox controller with a USB converter on it which runs great with all my other PC games, but i'll wait for a demo to come out first and make my mind up then.

If it's no good then i should be able to buy resident evil 4 cheap for PS2, by then anyway.

Definately. I think the frame rate is better aswel judging by vidoes i have seen. The sepearte ways and assignment ada modes are great fun though and i dont think you get those on the GC version.

It will be useless for pc however

Code veronica isnt up to the technical standards of resi 4 but i felt it had a more engaging story. It doesnt offer anywehere near the lifespan of resident evil 4 though- must be 100hours of gameplay in that
