Maybe it was on the floor when he turned it on, but when he started playing, he realised it was in the way and his dog was stepping on it and so instead of just power off coz he was in the middle of a game, he wanted to put it on top of a table or cupboard.........................then...................EEEEK!!!!

lol possible or he got so into playing his game he left the kitvhen tap on and it sdlowly started to flood the house he notiched just in time and moved the 360 lol

Check A/V connections etc. In any case these were very slight movements with an exagerated response to the norm. Definately a quality control or poor design issue as something so easily moved shouldn't be triggered by just a bump. In that case there should be warning beacons around the console. I'm not as simple as you make me out to be.

All the newer version of the xbox 360 as well as the warning in the manual come with a sticker on the drive which advises you not to move the console when in operation.... obviously this has to be removed before you can eject the dvd tray.

I powered mine up and pressed eject without taking the sticker off.

I was too busy drooling over burnout to notice the sticker
