Check A/V connections etc. In any case these were very slight movements with an exagerated response to the norm. Definately a quality control or poor design issue as something so easily moved shouldn't be triggered by just a bump. In that case there should be warning beacons around the console. All the newer version of the xbox 360 as well as the warning in the manual come with a sticker on the drive which advises you not to move the console when in operation.... obviously this has to be removed before you can eject the dvd tray.
