Something to look forward to. They really need to get their act together with the Live Arcade now, it's over a year old and has only a handful of good titles to show in my opinion.

The trouble with the Live Arcade is that they're still trying to use the nostalgia of classic titles, something I believe was lost a while back. When news first came of the Live Arcade, I remember thinking "wow, Street Fighter, Pacman, Contra, Frogger!", they're gonna be so cool!

But in reality, they were cool in their day. When I play them now, they not only feel like a mediocre game, but they can even go as far as to spoil the great memories you had of them.

What the Live Arcade needs is easy going original titles. The best games so far in my opinion are Geometry Wars, Uno and Texas Hold 'em.

I'd love to see some more simple board game based games, Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, that kinda thing. Oh, and Tetris.

Just got Open Warfare on the PSP and its like the first worms, with Worms 2/WWP graphics.

They lost the plot when they went 3d and killed it, but this should do just the trick!

Same with Lemmings... going 3d I mean...

Wow this will be sweet Personally I'd say the best live arcade games out are novadrome, zuma and geometry wars! I brought quite a few more but rarely play on them.

Yeah, new titles really need to be release on 360 Live Arcade - I think that's what XNA is helping to do, get some talent from the bedroom and showcase the best on Live Arcade through one of the best distribution methods possible for smaller developers.

Can't wait for next year, seriously hope they buck up a bit.
