Have been outside in a T shirt since 9.48 and took bout 100 shots - handheld cos i couldn't find my tripod plate - arrgghhh, now gonna look how they turned out

Hot off the press. All Nikon D70 on my 500mm f6 scope with 2x Barlow giving 1000mm. All 1/100th second at ISO200.

The last batch will need to be 1 to 3 seconds at ISO1600 - this is a real DARK eclipse !!

Bugger off, post your pictures later ONCE the eclipse has finished It's my turn next if I can get some sharp photos... Only got one chance at this, best not mess it up


edit: alternatively go grab your biggest memory card and set your camera to burst mode for the entire duration of the eclipse, and make it into an animated GIF.

aww i wanted to take pics but my cameras a Sony T7 digi cam so thats useless.. and my brother has a Canon 350d with short distance lenses if i heard correctly from him

Taken with the Olympus SP-550UZ and Timelapse (a selection of the best ones). First images were 1/400, f4.5, ISO50 the last images were 1sec, f4.5, ISO100
