Just wondering if there is a specific day that is generally cheaper to fly on than others?

For budget airlines, it seems to be usually Tuesday / Wednesday (clear either side of [long] weekend breaks abroad) . . . the inhospital houred flights as well (say 6:20am or 23:20pm etc.)....
Overnight on 31 December 1999 / 1 Jan 2000 - bit late now though.
it depends on where your going.
I've found that going too visit my perants via newquay airport, sunday is a great day too go down from london. I'm guessing this because lots of people want too return late on sunday, but few want too start a holiday on a sunday.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are good. But it really does seam too depend on the direction i've found (flying too newquay... train takes 6 hours)

We're looking into flights for our trip to Thailand later in the year and just trying to save as much as possible. Thanks for your help.
When looking, generally tuesday was a cheaper day to fly... just one of those things I noticed
skyscanner is a great site, it shows flights and costs in a graph over a week/month etc.

Best bet it to wander into your local STA Travel - they have instant pricing on stuff like that and will probably offer you a competitive deal.
Alternatively BA allow you to view the min price/day on their website. When you select a day, it shows all flights to that location on that day, and their corresponding prices.
Unless you have brand loyalty, you might also consider Thai airlines. I flew with them, and the service onboard was far better than the OneWorld / Star Alliance operators.
Yeh use skyscanner whenever I book flights. In fact, used it to book my flights to Milan tomorrow. Gonna be a great game
