I didn't get in until 10.15 last night.

remeber to set your machine to not restart on BSOD so you'll catch the error.

I set it on reboot on purpose to see if it could actually get into windows while I was at work

The errors were si3114r5.sys, tcpip.sys, IRQ_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL and nv4dll.sys

All is fine now as I had F@H running all night along with BOINC and a few other stressful tools so it was just an off-day yesterday.

If it's any help, what I found when I had a similar problem and IRQ_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL was that it's caused by a driver residing in Virtual Memory and making a call when the CPU is locked out as busy and so the disk can't be accessed to release the information in VM (because a disk-access requires the CPU) so it results in a crash.

Solution: Better written driver or enough memory to avoid it ever being in VM.


Like I say, that's what I found, I'd sorted the problem by then (by reinstalling) so I didn't look into it any further. I'm sure someone on here will know more about it.

That is indeed correct, in fact in that case it looks like the main system driver (I presume that is an Nvidia based board) so that would cause all sorts of icky problems. I find if you can get at the system without needing to boot to windows and remove driver you can normally cure the problem.

Nvidia drivers are a bit reknown for that.
