Fiesty as heck today
I buy two Samsung drives - both fail within hours - woo!
I RMA them to those wonderful folks at Scan - They test them, find them to be faulty (phew) and issue replacements - Replacements are out of stock with no ETA - boo
We wangle a deal and I'm sent two shiny new drives (WD AACS).
After a spat with City Link (they said I was out, I was in, they realised their mistake and sent their driver back!) I finally get the two shiny drives.
I install them both, one whirs to life the other doesn't. I try it in a desktop machine, it's not recognised and the machine wont boot. I'm man enough to admit I feel like crying right now.
Guess I've got another RMA to sort out tomorrow
Bleugh
potatos!
nubbins!
Nubbins? Gubbins!
I lost my feistiness this week after my airport adventures on Monday. Not fun.
Not around too often!
Same here, spending more time getting to and from work, than actually being there is starting to take its toll.
It's been noticed I'm not my usual self this week too (although i did do a good job of cheering myself up last night - clean socks and laminate floors!)
What no choc Tigs?
That wouldn't cheer me up, just make me fat.
*cake doesn't make me fat btw before anyone mentions that...
I need cake and for my house to be finished. And also not to have an hour and a half commute each way!
I have also spent just over 1 of the last 3 days in airports. One of the other days was spent in Switzerland. I feel like I am being punished for something!
Not around too often!
I am actually in Raynes Park (near Wimbledon) and I commute down to Horsham. It should take 50mins but the traffic is always bad and this is the using the quickest route I have found. Its a 33 mile trip each way. Not fun!
I will be celebrating in early March that our house has finally been renovated by cooking and eating a very large and tasty carrot cake. No more pokey 1 bed flat containing 2 people and their stuff from a 2 bed flat! Yay!
Not around too often!
Pimms O'clock at 6pm - Green Man @ Bank
All welcome, as long as you're buying.
