So, to sum up:

In Spain, ham is a vegetable.

Some veggies consider fish to be a vegetable, or, like the geezer from Belgium’s wife, eat them because they have been swimming in the rivers and having ikkle baby fish, and so when caught, were not sad - boo-hoo, but were happy - ye-har!

Chicken is also a vegetable.

As are crisps. But only the ones that haven't got a face.

htid considers the act of eating a Big Mac as a greater crime than hacking someone to death with a machete.

arbitor hasn't got a Caps Lock or Shift key on his keyboard, likes shooting animals in the face, and cares little for humans as well, which seems fair, given his outlook on life.

Anyone get the feeing the forums are slowly going mad? I withdraw from the thread, right now. In another 50 or so posts, someone will claim beef is a vegetable, but only if it was killed by a farmer who hasn’t got a face, in Spain.

Some of them are not quorn branded, like Tesco's veggie bacon (not sure if its the same stuff though)... Regardless, I'd rather not eat something that looks like bacon, even if it is veggie...

The idea of this is terrible imo... but I suppose its for the meat eaters who became veggie - not me a natural born veggie

I eat Quorn all the time and I wasn't a meat eater who became a veggie (well, I was, bus many many years ago)

Quorn's good, it's cheap. I eat it all the time, and it makes you realise that most of your meals taste exactly the same bar you're saving the slaughter of an animal... well actually you're probably not, they continue to slaughter to consistent amount of animals. You'd need a lot of veggies to make some difference.

I am a student I used to average spending less if I bought Quorn as opposed to meat.
