Aye, a lot of people are computer hardware illiterate, and because of this, they don't know better, they hear this and want...

Although it doesn't send me into paroxysms of deadly rage I do find the Mazda 'zoom-zoom-zoom' tune quite irritating...

The worst for me, atm, has to be that stupid, square fringed bint who falls over. "I was walking through the lobby, the floor was wet, there were no sign". "I dropped my lipstick so i called clams direct and sued someone else for my clumsiness and stupidity.

Or the bloke fitting an alarm who "wasnt given the right equipment" so he fell off his ladder on to his arm.

    Or Picture loans, gah

^Have you noticed they're trying to spin this now that the people are actually being helpful to society? (They've re-sited that dangerous bus stop, they've put proper safety equipment in place etc.)? No word on what effect they have on insurance premiums for some reason though... or the number of staff their firm had to lay off to pay their compensation etc. etc.

Speaking of Picture Loans and their like does anybody else find the term 'helped' objectionable? They say "We've helped x number of people" while I feel they should be saying "We've charged x people a lot of money and if they couldn't pay us back, we took their house.." kind of thing instead. It could just be me but I don't really equate a high interest rate, a charged service and the inherent threat of repossession if you default as 'help'..

Exactly. They are all the same, a bunch of loan sharks operating under the pretence of "helping" people. We'll take away your many small debts and leave you with one huge one. Great.

Howvere the most loathed advert is the sheilas wheels one.
    If you hate it:
    www.bansheilaswheels.com
    If you like it:
    www.ilovesheilas.com
The hate it one is a non-official site collecting signatures to get it banned, the fan site is actually official and was put up by the people behind sheilas wheels, esure. so its not exactly unbiased. Just google "youtube sheilas wheels" if you have not heard it.
    Oh yea, Schumie rocks!
