cheers shelley, ill remember that! she howled most of last night, i gave in around 2 oclock, went down, didnt fuss her, cleaned up all the mess, put her back in bed and went, she carried on for anpther 15 minutes but was fine after that, gonna buy me and the neighbouors earplugs

I have an Airedale Terrier who's now 4 months and 15 Kgs (33 lbs) who's a very keen gardener. He brought a rose bush into the house yesterday and chopped it into 4" lengths before I noticed. He has apparently had a go at the grapevine today, but it's 2" thicka nd will hold for a day or so longer. Going to put wire mesh on it tonight.

My advice is to read as much as you can about training, unless you know it all.

So its been 3 weeks, we still have her, she hasnt chewed anything, and all is good in the world!

She can sit, shake a paw, and lie down, comes when shes called (unless theres something more interesting happening) and were nearly house trained! this morning was persisting down (you may have noticed) so i went outside in my jacket in the pouring rain for half hour with her, nothing, we go inside and within 5 seconds shes wee'd on the floor. oh well. her ears are startin to prick up too, give it a few more weeks and a few more tubs of superglue and they'll be up.

I went to a puppy socialisation class in Brussels. It turns out that we were supposed to have brought our own beer.

this is my dog last week. she is growing into a big girl, she weighed 20kg at 4 months (avergae for a GSD is around 14-15) she is love of my life (apart from the gf.. sometimes)

He's a beautiful boy, and knows it. (shame he doesn't know he's a GSD though... seems to think he can fit into chihauha sized spaces on sofas, ergo you get a stomach full of dog elbows)
