Make sure you get plenty photos of her small, they grow really fast. My staffie was a dot when we got him, now he is pretty big rippling with muscles.

Not forgetting the usual, get her shots as soon as you can as there are a lot of diseases going about all over the country at the min.

Also keep an eye out for RSPCA vouchers. There was a poster up in our local Post Office about 6 weeks back. Gives you a voucher for free neutering and spaying (if you have decided that you are wanting to do that yet). Apperently it is happening up and down the country at the min.

Even if she isn't old enough yet there is nothing stopping you from getting the voucher.

A weird one that is becoming more common as of late also we were informed by the vet the other day. Dogs are starting to show allergies to certain types of treats a foods.

We had to have ours down the vet as he was getting a rash under his armpits, round his mouth and bloodshot eyes. Turns out it was the dog treats that are the coloured chewsticks. The ones you can normally get something like 100 for a few quid. Not that it will happen but just a warning incase for the future. He is allergic to food colourings!

She is a topper, what breed is she?

Lovely dog. Treat her right and she is your best friend for ever.
Get her chipped for piece of mind around £14.
Also ask your vet if they have a well pet plan.
This covers health checks twice a year, injections and worming. Plus discounts for most other treatments. Mine is £13.70 a month for a German Shephard.
Insurance is also a must. Shop around as there is big differences between companies. Dont take the one the vet offers you without checking out on the web.

Looks lovely. Hope you have alot of fun with her.

My friends' got a dog named sasha (or maybe it's sacha). Lovely thing and soppy as hell. Completely mad and will chase a ball until she drops.

If they ever got another one I would persuade him to name it Digweed.

Awww She's gorgeous!!!! GSD's make fantastic Pets, hard work but by god they are worth the effort.... loving and loyal, I can't imagine my life without a GSD in it.

Max is 6 this year and he's getting older, going a bit grey under his chin, I think it suits him, makes him look like a distinguished Gentleman

Here's a pic of him at 7 weeks with Mum Gem ( RIP )

    Max and Mum

    Max

Max ( left ) with Big Sister Monica ( well She's older not bigger )

    Max and Monica

Monica has just given birth to a litter of 12 GSD's so we've been calling Max Uncle Puppy litter ready in July

Max and Tia with his Kitten, who adores him, She'll cuddle up to him at every oppurtunity
