The Grudge freaked me out most. The original Dawn is fab but not scary, 28 days is good but not really scary and The Ring never did much for me. That's all I can think of really.
Thats the one, messed up as you like that is

Again its just not that scary, just gore..
I think a horror film should make you look over your back when your on your own..
I know after the ring i looked at the well in our garden a whole lot differently.. it just mucked me up and i was scared of it for like 2 years lolol
Event Horizon if yo fancy a more sci-fi angle

Yup i was NOT looking foward to going downstairs on my own that night, hate Chinese girls they look soo weird when they want to be
Agreed, although I thought the casting was inspired with the exception of Sam Neil, who is just comes across as too nice, even with his eyes missing and blood dripping down his face. He looks like a favourite uncle.....
Miller: Weir?
Dr. Weir: [laughing] The ship brought me back. I told you she won't let me leave - she won't let anyone leave. Did you really think you could destroy this ship? She's defied space and time. She's been to a place you couldn't possibly imagine. And now... it is time to go back.
Miller: [sounding bored] I know. To hell.
Dr. Weir: You know nothing. Hell is only a word. The reality is much, much worse.
Miller : [calling out into the next room] Aunty Judy!! Uncle William's been at the sherry again!!

Silence of the Lambs always sends shivers up my spine
And Se7en was good.
If all else fails, i'll lend ya my copy of the Gruffalo
"A Gruffalo? what's a Gruffalo?
Oh no didn't you know? there's no such thing as a Gruffalo.
His Eyes are orange, his tongue is black, he has purple prickles all over his back!
He has knobbly knees and turned out toes and a poisonous wart on the end of his nose"
Scares me witless anyway does that Gruffalo
*Is able to spot a parent several miles away*

Next to R-Point, Event Horizon has to be one fo the scariest movies i've seen in years.
Even Sean Pertwee is good in it
