    kickstart has it spot on, i dont do oven chips, they taste like wet cardboard.

    I'm also a home made fan.

    I chunky cut spuds in their skins, blast em in the microwave for 4 mins, then blast em in a hot oven with salt pepper and a load of olive oil for 10 mins.

    Either home made (ultra thin, crisp like almost with some skin still on them).
