Teachers for parents, never easy, i would sympathise, but i don't do sympathy.


How on earth can you love a hospital atmosphere though? are you twisted? Sick people, dying people, nurses that don't look like any of the ones in Scrubs or even ER. Or maybe its Casualty you love, people with knife wounds, glass wounds, car crash victims, junkies etc etc etc


methinks you need to step back, realise that no matter what you say now we are going to ridicule you ( well, i will attempt to anyways, so don't say anything clever i can't answer back please) and reevaluate your next post

Met my mrs when she was training at Colchester. I shared a rented house with a number of nurses.... happy days All the male nurses that trained with the mrs have risen up the career ladder far faster than their female compatriots in the whole.

How about looking to do bio medical science and then moving on to medicine. My girlfriend went for medicine, applied to all the top med uni's but didn't get an offer. She did the IB and had way more points than an equivalent A level student and still didn't cut it. She is now going to do BioMed at Southampton and is looking to switch which is done based on 1st year merit.

Why is there so much concentration on money? I don't think money will help you when you're dead and buried, I'd rather make a life for myself rather than money, and the only thing money will do for me is to support my family.

Medicine was my passion, this is what i wanted to do, i wanted to be a doctor, but now im doing AS levels, have finished those exams, im studying :
Chemistry
Biology
Psychology
Geography

The thing is im good at all 3 subjects except for Chemistry, im so bad at chemistry this year in AS however hard i try to understand some of the maths part of chemistry& the concepts, it just does not get into my head, o i hate calculations and every test i do I never got more then a D, E , U the highest i got was a C and thats so c**p . I cant be borthered to spend my time studying chemistry when im not good at it.

So yes i will drop chemistry in A2, i dont have enough energy to get good grades in this subject.

So that leaves me with doing : Biology, psychology, geography, it doesnt make a nice combination . And when i get a degree in these subjects i will probally be nothing more then a cleaner im probally going to earn c**p money.

Doctors earn so much money is there a job i can do that relates to those 3 subjects that im studying that can have the same wage earnings as a doctor, i hope there is :'( or then i will probally survive on income benefits when im older
