So radiohead are letting you download their new album, and choose how much to pay for doing so.

This could be quite intresting I think, as the normal rules of consumer expectation will not apply (ie say the Filterbrats having half their music on myspace is worthless because no one knows who they are, even thou i think they are quite good, odds are you wouldn't think they where worth £5).

i just read about that there now... im not a huge fan of radiohead to be honest... i reckon id pay a fiver...

I am, but i didn't like their last offering as much.

Yet still all i'd pay is 5. Its too badly compressed.

Think it would be quite intresting if people posted how much they'd pay for it, and their approx "disposable" income each month (ie net - rent/mortgage), because this could be quite intresting.

ie

Me £5, less thanks too the compression. £1,800

I ordered the Boxset, get 2 cd's, 2 lp's, artwork and a book for £40. If its **** I can ebay it, although I doubt it will be

Very interesting piece of market research.

If they had a lossless download i'd probably give them about £8 for it.

I'l wait for the CD to be released though.

Does it really matter to the majority of the public?

[I am favour lossless - though I must admit that it doesn't affect the perceived sound as much as other part of my setup]
