I hope its not MySQL, been doing some more server evaluation this week, and wow did the time fly by doing something so much fun. I still amazes me anyone uses MySQL considering the Free (as in un-restricted Free) and same price commerical solutions that are so much better, cheaper too when you start maxing out the hardware. It just goes to show the power of been the norm and what people are familar with.

As such i'd say the forums would die worryingly easily.

Most websites that aren't JSP seam to find the DB server as the week link.
