We don't really do the whole Valentines thing - though the missus does have the weekend off work , so we'll be happy spending some time together ( I'm gonna have to break my router beforehand so I have no excuse to be online )

Just keep your eyes and ears open for ideas and don't be thinking you need to "buy a present"... it needs to be more personal than that I think.. something that means something to both of you, or something that you have made, or put some effort into...???!!

I'm hoping for a weekend in Paris or something...? He he! Only joking!!! A candle-lit dinner at home would do me, and spending a nice relaxing evening together.

Well since its the weekend (the weekend after we come and visit apparently?) were gonna be together so it may be the same for us something i have put effort into? my god, i havent got a clue where to begin thinking I really dont know

it's ok, it's not a holiday, it's just a weekend. dont see why it should be any different from any other day tbh, ur partner should show their love to you 365 days a year, not just for one day!

However, since every valentines day in my life has been utterly poo, i intend to make this one memorable (edinburgh you say paul? good good )
