That he could be prosecuted in the first place is wrong but that he should end up branded in the same way as a paedophile for effectively cracking one off with an inanimate object is distinctly disturbing.

Would they have done the same to a woman with a sex toy? Apart from the fact that the sex toy iwas manufactured for the purpose and a bicycle (snigger) wasn't I really don't see that the two acts are all that different. (Apart from the obvious differences of comfort and downright weirdness)

Is it to be a crime to be weird on your own in private now? They couldn't say that anyone else was harmed by the act (although I bet it chafed terribly)
Has a hexus post been quoted on the BBC website? We're reaching new heights!

Re: Man trys to have sex with his bicycle

They maybe could'nt say "Betty Swallocks said..." But its not very nice of them to quote someone without crediting them or the website... Thats naughty.

And yeah this is a stupid story. Imo its only going to turn the "sexual offenders register" into a joke. It should be a really serious thing, but if people think its half full bike humpers and stuff.. its hardly going to be respected anymore.

Re: Man trys to have sex with his bicycle

I'd have been happy if they'd credited Hexus. I quite understand why they might not want to quote me by name
