    Mmmmm... I LOVE pancakes!
and much as I love them with other fillings, on Pancake Day, it HAS to be the traditional lemon juice and sugar... mmmmm.....mmmmm.....

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.... It was them that started me drinking.

Don't you just hate it when that happens?

Whatever you are looking for it's always that pesky tumeric that is hiding things from you. You'd think by now it would be fed up of that joke, but oh no no no, tumeric just loooooves playing pranks.

turned out i get stage fright, i can't toss one when my flat mate is present. Soon as she stops watching, no problem. It just all falls appart when she is observing me, so now, dosen't belive me

my best record was 5 tosses in 10 seconds. so i'm not in danger of breaking the world record!

I DON'T BELIEVE IT!! I missed pancake, one of the best days of the year!

    /cries in the corner

I'll have to badger for some soon, but it just won't be the same... just got back from work too, so it's a bit late to be asking now...and I can't cook either, so that's not an option. I'm stuck here with ready made lasagne...

Hope you all had fun tossing, though

Re: "Certainly these days part of the fun of cooking pancakes is in the tossing"

Elyk, its one of the easyest things to cook.

100g Flour, 50g butter, 2 medium eggs, pinch of salt, 200ml of milk, 75ml of water. Whisk together with a fork if you've not got a wisk.

    easy to remeber.

Frying/Crepe Pan, line with sunflower oil (a peice of kitchen paper will do this very well) make sure everything is nicely lubed up. heat pan up on medium heat. once at temp, poor in a little of the mix, imediately pick up the pan and make the mixture float around till it fills the pan, once thats nice and level, start using a fish slice to lift up the edges a tiny bit, work round the whole pan. Shake it a bit, lift it a bit. Just adjitating the pan back and forth you should see the crepe slide back and forth. Your ready to flip.

    Really easy.
