I always ask at least one question I know almost nobody could answer just to see their reaction when they're out of their depth.

Ouch - I don't think I would be able to tell if a question is asked to test whether I can be honest about my limitations, or test my lateral thinking (something that may not have a 'correct answer' but the interviewer want to see an honest attempt of problem solving something extremely difficult).
