I currently wear tights under my troosies as it's bloody freezing when I'm walking to and from work. The train is always cold too. I usually top it off with a pair of socks too, but that's mainly to stop my trainers slipping off.
I used to wear leggings under my jeans/trousers at school when it was cold.
Nah... I think my extreme environmental conditioning from primary school worked as they made us wear shorts all the way from year 1 through to the last year.
I wear it when I'm out and about at night. Apart from that during the day nah. It's not that cold is it? It's been quite warm the past few days.
Yeap - shorts all the way from 4 years to 11 years old no matter what the weather. It was great in the summer, but when the winter came and the heavy rains, hailstones and freezing temperatures all had their wicked way with the skin on your legs. If it was really cold and your legs were freezing, the lads from the higher years thought it was funny to slap or kick a football at your legs and make you suffer.
We had to wear rugby gear all through the year for our weekly Games afternoon at school. I don't think I've ever been as cold since. Even when stood at the top of a 400ft exhaust stack all night in October.
Short trousers untill the end of primary schoool left me with a cast iron constitution , permanently scarred knees and well chilled reproductive system.
