    Re: David Cameron

Choosing to go by bike should be rewarded; cyclists should be excused from the rules of the road for reducing congestion, improving personal fitness and helping the environment.

Cycling in the City is high risk and quick decisions are needed to stay alive. Cyclists shouldn't have to hang around like lambs to the slaughter whilst cycle lanes are routinely ignored.

A lot less kids have bikes for Christmas these days. It's too dangerous to ride them on the roads. It's a crying shame.

Rubbish. Those rules are there for a reason, to promote the safety of all road users, among others. They have nothing to do with environmental causes - which edition of the Highway Code did you get tested on?

Where are these figures coming from, your annual delivery?

I see no evidence of that down here. You might not see them as much due to more forms of entertainment, but there's still a lot of kids on bikes riding around estates and on pavements/cycle routes.
My only concern is should I hide my true identity? A costume maybe?

    Re: David Cameron

A bike? Man, if I was 8 again I'd ask for a PS3!!! Not a bicycle which I could only take out when it's sunny and under mummy's supervision.
I reckon the number of bikes have gone up, it's just that Christmas is now reserved for the "expensive" gifts.

It's like completing resident evil 4 on hard mode out there on a bike to inner London, I've done both. However I think Dave is just trying to hard to not look like your average MP.

Maybe. But maybe he finds it convenient and maybe he likes it. He's still a young feller after all. For those out of practice, cycling is fun and physically and mentally good for you. Saddle up an' ride yer pony, lol

    Re: David Cameron

Well, maybe not the cycling thing but he does other things.

Oh by the way I love cycling and I do it almost every day, it's probably bad for the lungs though, some days when I forget to wear my face mask my nostrils are coated with dirt like I've been traveling on the tube for an hour.*

EDIT: (if you're not a Londoner and hardly ever use the tube then * means like a coal miner)

Yep, know what you mean about the grimy city. It's a bummer when you have medical tests and they show that because you cycled, you've been poisoned

Y'know, I think we've finally sussed it. Mr Cameron cycled to avoid getting stabbed in the back.

And, well, he got stabbed in the back because he cycled. Doh!
