The occasional joke or prank can be funny, but April Fools is so widespread now that its becoming nonsensical - in my opinion!
You can barely say two words before someone responds with "that's an April fools, right?". Gah!
In a similar vein, you can't be too sure about anything you read today.
I must be getting boring in my old age but I'm eagerly awaiting April 2nd.

Every once in a while, I see an original and genuinely funny April fool prank. Most, however, are simply pathetic.
Surely you don't have to wait until tomorrow, aren't all the tricks meant to be pulled by midday?

i love April Fools!
last year me and my auntie blacked out all the windows (from the outside) in her house and set all the clocks to different times.. and woke my uncle up at about 4pm and asked him what he's having for breakfast and we put on a TV show that was supposed to be on in the morning that we'd recorded..
it was absolutely brilliant! he was soooo confused!

I hate 1st april with a passion, second only to Valentines. It's the element of surprise that I hate, i don't like surprises. (even nice ones) they put me on edge.

It's supposed to finish at midday, but the fact that it's April Fools Day means a lot of "hilarious" and "wacky" people carry it on.
