Thread: JOKE: Plane crash in Ireland

An Englishman, a Scotsman and an Irishman were without tickets for the opening ceremonies of the summer Olympics but hoped to be able to talk their way in at the gate. Security was very tight, however, and each of their attempts was met with a stern refusal.

While wandering around outside the stadium, the Englishman came upon a construction site, which gave him an idea. Grabbing a length of scaffolding, he presented himself at the gate and said, "Johnson, the pole vault," and was admitted.

The Scotsman, overhearing this, went at once to search the site. When he came up with a sledge hammer, he presented himself at the gate and said, "McTavish, the hammer." He was also admitted.

The Irishman combed the site for an hour and was nearly ready to give up when he spotted his ticket in. Seizing a roll of barbed wire, he presented himself at the gate and announced, "O'Sullivan, fencing."

    It's not racism! It's tradition!

Anyway, it can't be racism, we aren't taking the piss due to the colour of anyone's skin!

Thing about being a minority is that you are outweighed in numbers, that is what minority means, this is not an English notice board as far as I know it is an international one. See now I am in the minority and am allowed to be offended because the weight of the board is against me so in this case it appears that racism is ok. Thanks for the continued offense lads, it's only a bit of fun right?

You're taking this way too far, Blub2k, can't you take a joke? If someone was to take the piss out of English, or even me for that matter, all day for the rest of the day I'd still be laughing (as long as the jokes were funny of course!).

True you are a minority on this board as there are more english than irish people on here, but i've already had a joke with an englishman being kicked in the nads! and a irish man getting one up on a german and an englishman.

Of course i've wrote some other irishman jokes as well but i cant balance it much more than i have already, why dont you start posting some jokes about the englishman??

Dont live up to your user name, blub2K..

why dont you start posting some jokes about the englishman??
maybe because of the forum guidelines which state

As such we do not have a “Rules List”. We welcome all members to our forums here.

All that we ask is that people use their common sense when posting, as always there are certain things that we don’t tolerate.

    No unnecessary swearing
    No insults
    No bullying

This thread is a bit suspect with regard to the last two points already so you would like me to add to that?

they arnt insults. none of the posts directly say 'the irish are stupid' they are just little stories that insinuate that. equally you could read into say the first joke that it was the international rescue team that had made the error of finding all the bodies, as most operations of that size require an international effort to help clear up. so grow up and take a joke tbh. if you dont like the jokes then STOP READING THIS BLOODY THREAD

Tell me about it... The only thing I will apologise about is the thread title, which Agent pointed out was a bit naughty.

I'm not gonna apologise for a joke because that's what it is... just a joke. It's meant to be a funny, not insulting and I would hardly call it bullying! It's not aimed directly at anyone and to be honest if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen (or stop reading this thread).

Now, if I was to have said, 'All Irish people are stupid' I would understand your biterness, but I think you're being totally over the top and childish about this now.

Mods: Can this be closed please so people don't continue to flame me for trying to lighten up their days? Thanks.
