FireFox was crashing all the time, and would delete my bookmarks for no reason every few months.
If it worked I'd use it.

A Firefox is a naturally warm-blooded beast, able to keep up rapid movement. A safari on the other hand, is often undertaken by the slothful rich wanting to feel more connected to the world than their cold, sterile homes allow.
In conclusion, your computer is now too cold. Try lighting a fire under it and wrapping it in warm blankets.
Could try un-installing firefox and then reinstall it again.
Also might be worth running a virus scan and an Adaware/Spybot scan. Firefox used to crash every 2 seconds on my old PC, but this time around it's rock solid. The only difference is that I didn't really take care of my old PC and on this one I'm really strict about spyware and stuff.
Also it's well worth getting an addon for firefox called "Session Manager". Best addon evarrr.
I always thought it was "quite f***ing true" but then again I usually make up something if I come across and acronym that I haven't seen before...
Quote For True, I've always taken it as
It is probably a problem of compatibility

It's been the case for years that Firefox runs gifs faster than a lot of other browsers. A lot of people on b3ta comment about it. There's not a lot you can do but edit the gif to have less delay between frames or use FF.
