Should have mentioned that Sendfile needs the Sony Ericsson phone monitor but seeing as you've get fma working it probably doesn't matter.

And download the : "Sony Ericsson Communication Suite 1.5.9" and install it on your pc, then under the "Phone Monitor Options" under Control Panel select the comm port that you have the dc attached to as enabled, then find then run "phonesettings.exe", under C:\Program Files\Sony Ericsson\Communications Suite" if you installed in the default directory, then it should detect the phone and you should get an icon in the taskbar which looks like a phone with a green tick over it which means that mpm has detected the phone.
Then you can use sendfile, but don't close the Sony Ericsson Phone Settings program until your finished because this will close mpm.

PS What is the problem you have with fma ?

i tried that software- its on the sony E CD i got with the phone, but it dont work - it says i have to pay for it, and for the non paying version you need to run outlook prior to installing i tried runnin outlook and still no look when installin

edit: make sure you set up the com port stuff in the settings, i had it wrong and nothing was working, set it to com1, 115,200 and connected fine

but i cant transfer pics from phone to pc

Bluetooth adapters can be had for about £20 and that would probably be your best bet.

how come pictures can go one way, but not the other? i can download them fine, but not upload ??
