We don't discuss full details of bans. Suffice it to say he hasn't exactly been banned. But he knows what the situation is, and what to do. Enough said.

And, on that point, we do take matters like piracy seriously, and other matters (like defamation) that can have legal implications for HEXUS. Our rules are usually there for a reason, and we do expect them to be respected. And our rules say :-

No warez or piracy discussions at all, this includes illegal peer2peer and BitTorrent files discussion

That doesn't mean an automatic ban if it's broken, but it is an option and will depend on circumstances. So, while there have been some general discussions on the principles involved, anyone actively endorsing or encouraging piracy is flying close to the wind, and anyone providing details or explaining techniques or resources is likely to have access removed.

We don't want to be anal about it, and we do try to take a reasonable perspective, but breaking the rules is sticking your neck out.
