Best company/manufacturer regarding dead pixels.

Hi

I'm thinking of buying a 22' LCD monitor as my CRT is on it's last legs. I wondered if anyone has some feedback regarding dead pixels and their experience of returning or RMA'ing any monitors with a dead pixel or pixels to online companies or monitor manufacturers.

I ask this as I seem to be extremely unlucky with dead pixels!

hp seem to have a good and more comprehensive coverage of dead pixels i.e. Total combined bright and dark sub-pixel defects: 5 maximum

However i have no experience of them plus they generally only offer 1 years warranty on monitors

Cheers for the HP Frazered..i also heard viewsonic have a good pixel policy but it is hard to find specifics on the site.

yeh i rang dell and under there satisfaction guarantee i returned it for one dead pixel.

Did they send out a replacement, and swap over the faulty screen? I've got a couple of stuck pixels on my 2407

There's two TFTs in this house, both Samsungs, no faulty pixels on either. My friend also got a Samsung, same story.
