Firefox 3, what have you done with my 'back button' drop down?

I'm a little undecided over FF3, purely becuase the roundy curvy-ness of it all looks a bit too much like IE, which really winds me up.

But the biggest pain by far is the disappearance of the drop-down menu for going back a page... I like to be able to just hit that a select the previous page from the list that appears.

Yes, I know I can right click it, but why should I have to when the 'previous page' button has a drop-down, so where's the one for going back???

Re: Firefox 3, what have you done with my 'back button' drop down?

Nick, looking at the forward/back buttons in FF3, there's a drop-down to the right of the forward button which is a sort of combined forward/back list of pages.

What are you on about...? It's still there, it is on mine anyway.

Edit: What he said You can select pages forward and back in your browsing history, very clever.

yeah, but it's more of a recent history than an actual forward and back list of pages isn't it?

no, it shows the current page in bold with a different icon, anything forward is above, anything back is below.

There's a 'recent history' or something button (forgotten the name, I deleted it) below the back/forward buttons, but the button you're looking for is a little black one to the right of the forward button, it does the forward and back history as described above.

Re: Firefox 3, what have you done with my 'back button' drop down?

Yeah I know, that's the one I mention in my OP... I gotta say, I didn't realise it was the full forward and back bit combined as the others have pointed out...

I guess I just need to get used to it though I doubt I'll ever be happy with it... I LIKED my forward and back drop downs being NEXT to the forward and back buttons...

More annoyingly, Silverlight don't work with FF3 yet, so I can't watch the touring cars on ITV.com

Re: Firefox 3, what have you done with my 'back button' drop down?

From the people I've spoken to, people seem to have various version of this new Firefox.

Quite a few people have said they don't have a related links, which I do.

hmmm. That is an option I suppose, but seeing as it downloaded, installed and is listed as a valid plugin, surely you'd expect it to actually work?
