Someone just lost any respect that I had for them. There's a difference between acting like a kid and acting with no maturity whatsoever. Why? Because we're kids.

lol, indeed. Don't dirty up the forum with your presence! *joke* .. sort of
Like Matty said, I'm sure all of us made mistakes and were far from model human beings during our teenange years but there is a line that just didn't seem to get crossed when I was at school (only.. 6 or 7 years ago..) or at least very much. Now it seems common place for the kids to be out on the street corners doing what has been described.
I wouldn't exactly blame the music Behemoth, I think that is just a means to an end tbh. I certainly don't think it's giving them any postive idea's but then music of any kind (that the bulk of teenagers would listen to) rarely does.
Maybe you should blame the computers. Everyone else does...
I'm sure you can in some respects, probably more so than music. Lots of schools I have visited recently have had to ban phones and camera's as the kids have taken to bullying and posting up on youtube (always clever).
That said, in the same way music can't really be blamed neither can the internet. They are making a choice to do these things so whatever medium of abuse that is available to them will probably be the one used.
Its just that some chavs play games like GTA and then theyre like lets go steal a car i rember that some teens in america opied the game and robbed some bloke heres the link

also,
these people are bored. I am 16, and am lucky to live in a nice area away from this kind of people, and as I go to a Catholic school, most the people there also have a good upbringing.
However if you walk to the other side of the highstreet in Cranleigh (where I live), you find groups of youths who either have both parents working, or the parents do not care and are out in the street with their "friends"*.
They will all be bored, and trying to find things to do which are interesting, and see knocking down a wall, getting into a garage, or driving a stolen car as a challenge. One will mention it, and they will all want to do it so as to impress their "friends"*.
Due to the Internet, computer gaming, television, and a lack of parenting these people have grown up seeing this kind of violence, and not been told that it is wrong. The people in the games/films seem to be enjoying themselves, so they copy themselves in their gangs.
*Thought this I have used "" marks for the word "friends", as they are not what I would call REAL friends. Would a real friend expect you to break into a garage, and pressure you into doing things which you do not necessarily want to do...NO, none of my friends would, so then are they really these people friends, no. They are simply other peers who are "cool" and these people want to impress.
It is a real shame, and has made the majority of teenagers (which are GOOD) look bad.
just an example of the kind of burks people are nowadays:
Me and a mate were walking down a street, and were confronted by a *insert expletive here* who just pointed at us and went 'your gay, and your gay, it's just obvious' trying to impress his 'cronies' [we're not ] to which we just burst out laughing just joking to each other saying 'What?, were we walking down the road having sex or something? we must have been, he's obviously correct as he sounded like he was sure...'
and another bizarre one in the town centre with a group of us, where some more *insert expletive here*'s just shouted 'hello campers' at us, and we just stood there like ' WTF just happened?'
it's got to the point where i can't walk down a street on my own (or with friends) without being heckled... (long hair \m/) WTF is wrong with these people? not everyone wants to conform to their egoistical bullpoop!
edit: and another thing, why do they insist on pounding out their music in public? I COULDN'T GIVE A FLYING HOOT WHAT YOU ARE LISTENING TO, IT'S CRAP, i'm sure they would be the first to complain if i blasted out prog death metal all day long on the bus...
TAKTAK, theyre called chavs. Like I said in an earlier post, theyre the modern day equivelent of the bubonic plague, except they dont just like to kill you, they like to **attempt** to insult you aswell.
Ive probably got one of the biggest hairdos around, and these scumbags seem to like molesting it. Theyre the ones that seem gay to me
Another thing they like to do is screech at you from their modded cars. (Their way of trying to hide whats 'under the bonet' so to speak. Making their engine sound bigger than it really is. Enough said.)
Yeah the "hello, campers" one has been shouted at me and some friends before. Not entirely sure what it's supposed to mean, besides the inevitable conclusion that they watch Hi-De-Hi! a lot.. The funniest thing is the way that there's always a fat, thick looking kit sitting down who quickly tries to turn around (amidst much giggling) when you look to see who said it.
What bugs me at home is that there's a statue outside the local shopping centre in the middle of town, and every day it's like a breeding ground for chav families.. about 20 unwashed (not in a snobbish way, they just smell a lot..) people, all shouting at their various wives/sisters/daughters (one and the same in some cases) and just being eyesores. They're quite benign usually, and it doesn't help that it's right outside Iceland, but it's just not a nice thing to see every morning on the way to work.
Not to go off topic, but that's a poor argument. There is no evidence to support the idea that religious schools produce a better education and better "morals". The local Christian school here is a dire establishment, most of the local "youvs" go to it and even God's going to have a tough time bringing them into shape. Saw a very good talk on this by a guy from the BHA, there is very little argument at all in favour of religious schools vs normal state. But that's a thread for question timeand as I go to a Catholic school, most the people there also have a good upbringing.
