I probably couldn't get a lift with my PC in it's current state. Big case and monitor doesn't make good for lanning. Probably will have to find a smaller setup to use. Hopefully I'll be attending one soon.
Thanks for answering the question guys

'Tis no probs. We all want more Hexus presence at these LANs
If you want smaller, try going for a laptop. So long as it runs the most played games (CoD4, L4D being two of the main ones) then it's fine. (You'd need a wired mouse too though, they prefer not to have wireless due to potential interference problems between other comps with wireless mice)
EDIT: Or \/ that option works too

Don't have a lappy
But yeah I always use a wired mouse.
It sounds nice to have more people at the LAN. Nothing more fun than shooting the people from your favourite forum
Wow didn't know that. I wouldn't have thought anyone would have a spare machine. Still I'd feel I'm being a bother if I was using someones spare machine.
No need to feel a bother. People with spares are usually happy to help, means more people can be met, and therefore more people having fun with each other at the same time and place
why? do you not think were geeky enough or something?Wow didn't know that. I wouldn't have thought anyone would have a spare machine.

Well, normally people wouldn't (unless you count 360 as a second machine), but if they have the space and a spare, it's only a little extra carrying
If you really feel like a bother, you could always buy the machine's owner some foods/drinks
Wow you guys were busy last night!
If I come to this I will indeed be driving from Aberdeen. Glasgow isn't much of a detour, neither is Carlisle as it's just off the M6. Have to remember though, I drive a Golf, not an estate, so space will dissappear quickly. especially If i need to take beer for Rasta as well. 24" monitors aren't the smallest fo things either
