    Council Tax

I didn't know where to post this, i'm looking at moving to a new place, i have the council tax band from the local council website but can't seem to find where it tells me what this equates too, does anyone know how you actually find out how much you will be paying given council tax band 'X'?

    Re: Council Tax

According to www.voa.gov.uk/council_tax/how-much-will-i-pay.. 'If you are moving to a new area and would like to find out how much tax you will pay on your new home, you need to contact the council of the area you are moving to.' The voa site is pretty good & would say if there was an easier way I shd think*.

*hmm, actually each local gov.uk site seems to have the actual price listings some seem to be easier to ferret out than others.
