Grrr, I lost my favorite watch :(

Taking the Sekonda back to Argos tomorrow in the hope they can adjust it by taking some links out of it, failing that I'll have to ask for a refund.

I bought a Sekonda recently (online), though I wish I had bought it from a shop that also took out links, as I found out the expensive way!

If you looked at it last thing & heard it drop it's gotta be somewhere and HAS to turn up. Definitely had the duvet cover right off the duvet & all that, have you? When you're next looking for something, that's when the first thing you lost tends to turn up - always happens to me.
(Cat hasn't dragged it off to its basket or out the catflap, has it? Hope she doesn't start beeping at 8.35...)

Like I said, I literally gutted my hole room looking for it today, and whilst I was at it I decided to clean up.

Still not sure what to do about the new watch I bought now, I really like it, hope Argos can get it sorted either that or take it to a local specialist and get them to sort the links out.

Did you check inside the pillow case?/Duvet? You never know!

Watch found It was inside a boot to a pair I don't ware very often, to this day I for the life of we can't work out how it go there, they weren't even near my bed that morning.

Why didn't you mention that it had an alarm set? I would have advised you to wake up just before the alarm went off and look for it.

I hope so, hows about this for sad, I know that it has an alarm set for 8:35 am evey morning, so if I wake up at 8:20am and then wait for 15 mons if I hear it go off I know it's in here somewhere.

If you are sure you had it when you got home it must be somewhere. Didn't drop in a shoe or something similar?

i know the feeling with watches, got really drunk (as in bottle of bacardi to myself drunk) one night and on the walk home i kept falling over! was so worried id break the watch i took it off & left it on a wall n walked off. Luckerly a mate walking behind me on the fone saw the watch & picked it up for me. I didnt realise what id done till he explained it 2 me in the morning!


Checked toilet? Kitchen? desk? draws etc?
