    Re: Michael Jackson Tickets.

Maybe the 50 quid ones are front row.

Further back you dont get nightmares of his nose dropping off onto you

On a slightly more serious note its kind of good to see that even after all the crap over the years and the supposed killing of his career he can still sell out

    Hmmmm, lol @ Dareos and...

I got the ticket price from a former post in this thread, silly me to take a poster at face value eh?

£75.00 is more like it, nothing unusual in that considering most musical artistes don't make much from record sales anymore.

Mind you, I only paid £17.00 to see British Sea Power at The Roundhouse recently, a much better deal imo.

Is MJ in debt? I have no idea. Does he still own that Neverland theme park of his? If so, flogging that off would make him a few bob

    Re: Michael Jackson Tickets.

Just bumping this up rather than starting a new thread - no crapping on this thread please.

Those of you who purchased tickets (me) can either claim a refund for all the tickets (and service charges) or you can opt to have your original tickets as a souvenir. You can also have a combination of the two.

Go here - http://www.michaeljacksonlive.com/refunds.php - click the link for the vendor who sold you your tickets and fill in the relevant information.

If you purchased "Ticketless Parking at The O2" (me again) you have to ring Ticketmaster Customer Services on 08444 999 999 and select Option 5 - Option 4 says it's for Ticketmaster but it's actually for TicketRub.

They're understandably very busy and you're forced to listen to Duffy but you will get a full refund.

I wonder if people who purchased tickets off ebay will be able to get a refund as well?

According to eBay - they're planning to refund everything.

I got a refund on 3 tickets, and one souvenir. Hopefully its value will sky rocket into the millions....

    Re: Michael Jackson Tickets.

I didn't have enough to buy tickets on ebay for 200+ pounds. But now hes dead, i'm might tempted by the 100 pound tickets as a souvenir.

Tickets from the show Elvis never played because he died are worth ridiculous amounts now! As long as people like rjkp keep 1 and return the rest, then they will still be rare

the difference is that the capacity for the huntington civic centre was 9,000 approx with tickets $15, and 32 years ago, whereas approximately 800,000 tickets were sold this year for MJ at £50-£70. it's going to take a hell of a long time for the tickets to be worth the £70, nevermind go up in value. there are just too many tickets to be considered a rarity. anyone from around the world could buy a ticket, whereas in 1977 people didn't fly to different countries to see a pop concert, so anyone who really wants a ticket will be able to get one without paying crazy money. many people will get refunds instead of tickets, so AEG will be left with a pile of unused tickets (actually it's not really a ticket, it's something that was coming with the ticket), so they will probably offer them for open sale afterwards instead of sitting on a stockpile of them

i would suggest only keeping one if you really want one as a keepsake, not as an investment
