    Royal event for grand slam team

    Well isn't that nice!!! Wales win it twice within a few years but I don't remember any royal visit!!

    Has the queen ever been to Wales ...
    Not sure if it's more a case of they where in NI any way and met the players, rather than they arranged the trip just to met the players.

    You do understand the political implications of an Irish team recognising and meeting the British Queen (and in Northland Ireland) right?

    Anyway, wales got their visit earlier :

    Earlier, the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh visited the Coastguard's rescue co-ordination centre in Bangor.

    I do see the political implications.....................................but part of my tax goes to the damn royal family so would expect them to show some faces when we do well lol
